Our time-varying functional connectivity review paper has been accepted and is now available online at Network Neuroscience.

November 26, 2019

At OHBM in 2016, I had an engaging conversation during a poster session that sparked a conversation which culminated in a paper, now available online at the Journal of the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.

October 17, 2019

Work with my advisor and her former student introducing a method for interpretable prediction for brain connectomics is accepted and now available online at the Annals of Applied Statistics.

July 4, 2019

A conference paper introducing a method of Supervised Principal Component, on which I'm a co-author, has been accepted for presentation at IEEE's Data Science Workshop and is now available online.

May 3, 2019

I was deeply honored to receive my department's "Outstanding Student Leadership" award at our graduation ceremony today.

May 2, 2019

Today I was officially awarded an MA in Statistics as part of my progress in my PhD program.

March 15, 2019

During our first-ever PhD visit day student poster session, I was honored to receive the best presentation award (as voted on by visiting prospective students). Congratulations to the other recipients of presentation awards!

February 13, 2019

Our work on low rank structure in functional connectomes has been accepted and is now available online at Nature: Scientific Reports.

January 22, 2019

Several years ago while was visiting Indiana University as a prospective PhD student, I had a discussion with Dr. Olaf Sporns about some methodological ideas. This led us to work together on a a paper now available online at Neuroimage: Clinical.

December 24, 2018

We have posted a preprint of our review of time-varying functional connectivity in resting fMRI. This was drafted collaboratively by several members of the Time Varying Working Group.

May 18, 2018

We've added a new preprint to bioRxiv focused on exploring low rank structure in interindividual variation in functional connectomes and its utility for phenotypic prediction.

September 5, 2017

I have joined the Department

of Statistics at the University of

Michigan as PhD student.

August 2, 2017

After a very lively twitter discussion regarding "dynamic connetivity" during OHBM 2017, I've created a online forum for the newly formed "Time Varying Working Group."

January 31, 2017

I'm spending this week at the

University of Sydney for the

Network of Mind symposium.

I'll be presenting on Thursday,

and my slides are available online

(full disclosure: work in progress up

until my actual presentation)

October 6, 2016

I'm presenting our recent preprint

and hosting/moderating/participating

in a journal club more broadly focused

on the Eklund et al. "Cluster failure"

paper. This will take place in EH 4464

at 3 PM as part of the "Decision Consortium"

series of events. Here are my slides.

September 30, 2016

I'll be presenting at the UMich

fMRI Symposium on Friday.

Here are my slides.

August 4, 2016

A preprint I authored along

with Mike Angstadt and

Chandra Sripada went live on

arXiv earlier today. It offers some

tentative context for the recent

Eklund et al. bombshell.

June 8, 2016

I'm giving an internal presentation

this morning. For attendees, slides

are available online at this

github repository.

April 27, 2016

I'll be presenting a poster at an internal

conference that reflects our work

recently published in JAMA Psychiatry.

The poster is available online.

April 13, 2016

In a paper that just became available online at

JAMA Psychiatry, I, along with colleagues,

investigate how growth charting of the

brain's developing functional architecture

may be predictive of problems with sustained

attention. The article is accompanied by an

excellent editorial by Dr. Philip Shaw.

May 27, 2015

I will be presenting a poster that encompasses

much of our group's recent work in attention

performance and ADHD at the 26th Annual

Albert J. Silverman conference in Ann Arbor.

February 1, 2015

I've recently joined Robert Welsh's team

on a study investigating biomarkers of ALS

where I'll be contributing machine learning

and data analysis skills. I'm excited to begin

work toward advancing understanding of

this very challenging disease.

December 10, 2014

I'm excited to announce that my first,

first-authored publication went

live today at the Journal of Neuroscience!

October 31, 2014

As part of Methods Core, I will be chairing

a journal club covering a new method:

Connectome-Wide Association Studies.

Join us this Friday @ 9:30 AM.

More details at the Methods Core website

October 15, 2014

Brainhack EDT is coming to Ann Arbor!

Join us this weekend, October 18-19.

For more details, visit the A2 Brainhack Website.

October 9th, 2014

I presented a poster at the University of Michigan MCubed Symposium.

I was fortunate to enjoy engaging conversations with many attendees from

a wide variety of disciplines. It seems some of this spirited conversation was captured by a School of Engineering Photographer and posted to Facebook!

(functional connectome, gray matter, white matter) maturational lag in ADHD. During its

presentation, I discussed two papers, one accepted, and one under review (I also discussed its supplement).
